Brittany Wheeler has joined NJBankers as vice president and director of government affairs.
Wheeler has succeeded in statewide leadership roles within political and governmental organizations in New Jersey. Her experience and expertise are well known.

Edward Yakely has joined NJBankers and Bankers Cooperative Group as vice president finance. Yakely brings with him a combination of public and private experience. After beginning his career with an international public accounting firm, he has over 30 years of providing financial and operational leadership to a number of privately held, small and medium-sized New Jersey-based businesses. He resides in Hillsborough with his wife, Nina, and has three adult children.
Christopher Corvil has joined Bankers Cooperative Group (BCG), as client service analyst. Corvil started working for BCG in September 2022 and achieved his Health and Life Insurance producer license in December 2022.
He is studying for a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in hospitality, events and tourism management at Montclair State University. He plans to receive his degree in December 2023. Corvil also played one year of NCAA Division 3 baseball at the university. Corvil is an avid Rutgers sports fan. He had worked at Rutgers as an events supervisor for all major sports including basketball, football, soccer, lacrosse, wrestling and baseball.
According to Matt Cooney, BCG president and CEO, “Chris rounds out the BCG staff with his care and concern for clients. He is a welcome addition to our staff. His sports participation just shows that Chris is a team player.”
Doug Holcomb has joined BCG as an employee benefits consultant. Holcomb brings over 10 years of employee benefits consulting experience in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. He has worked with employers in various industries and many sizes.
At BCG, Holcomb’s focus is to provide white-glove employee benefits service to our associate members, while introducing them to insurance products that can positively impact their employee retention, recruitment and budget.
Holcomb’s focus will be on the nonprofit and human services segments, along with applicable large employers.
